JUNG supports the protection of moors!

JUNG is actively committed to protecting nature and the climate – with a particular focus on its own regions. A key part of this commitment is supporting bog restoration projects in Baden-Württemberg and Thuringia. Bogs are among the most important natural CO₂ sinks and, at the same time, provide a valuable habitat for numerous rare plant and animal species.
By supporting regional projects, JUNG helps to protect, revitalise and safeguard peatlands for the long term. For example, a valuable peatland area is being preserved in Kugelmoos, Villingen-Schwenningen, whilst measures to rewet the land and strengthen near-natural habitats are being implemented in the Thuringian Forest.
Through this targeted regional initiative, JUNG combines environmental action with a commitment to local sustainability.
JUNG publishes sustainability report 2024!

JUNG has published its first sustainability report, demonstrating the high priority it places on sustainability within the company – without any legal obligation to do so.
The report for 2024 provides a concise overview of key topics such as environmental and energy consumption, carbon footprint, supply chain responsibility, labor and social standards, and sustainable packaging solutions. It also contains a concrete action plan and targets for the coming years.
Managing Director Dennis Dennig emphasizes: “For us, sustainability is not a trend, but a clear stance. With this report, we are transparently showing where we stand—and where we want to go in the future.”
JUNG x One·five:
An innovative material!

In partnership with the Hamburg-based start-up One·five, we are using their innovative material for our paper carrier bags – a forward-looking product that combines sustainability and quality.
The paper-based barrier packaging “Bluemorph” offers a solution that is recyclable as waste paper, delivers the required performance during the filling process and, according to One·five, generates up to 30 per cent fewer emissions than comparable standard OPP or plastic composite films.
This successful collaboration has also attracted considerable attention within the industry:
Publications including Packaging Strategies, Packaging Europe, the packaging journal and neue verpackung have reported on the use of this paper-based packaging solution at JUNG.
We are proud of this partnership and of making an important contribution, together, to the future of sustainable packaging.
JUNG gives SV Oberndorf a surprise
[19 October 2025]
At the football festival on 18 October 2025, the little footballers were in for a little surprise from JUNG!
Over 140 football-mad children, accompanied by their siblings, parents and grandparents, came together to enjoy a fun-filled football festival. For two hours, they played, laughed and cheered – a total of 35 Bambini teams took part with great enthusiasm.
The winners received one of our mini gift boxes with a football theme, filled with small chocolate bars.
Nomination for the PSI Academy Awards

JUNG has been nominated for the PSI Academy Award with its new paper advertising bag (mini bag) containing fruit gums!
The customizable packaging is recyclable as waste paper and thus returns to the paper cycle.
A breath of fresh air for sustainable brand communication.
The winner will be determined on September 11 in Cologne.

Topping-out ceremony at JUNG in Arnstadt

We celebrated an important milestone with a topping-out ceremony: the successful progress of construction on our new warehouse in Arnstadt. Together with everyone involved—from the construction company to the on-site team—we honored this symbolic moment. The new warehouse will strengthen our logistics and offer even more space for efficient processes in the future.
